Collect treasures or give some to your rivals to end the game with the second most points and claim victory!
Purchase Hoard Chests from the Enchanted Market to gain control. Buy a Chaos Elixir to mix things up. Get yourself into second place, then end the game by activating an Escape Scroll when the time is right.
Below are a few example cards as we lock down final game mechanics.
You and your friends have discovered an unknown land. It’s wild and bountiful, filled with magical beasts, creatures, civilized—and some not-so-civilized—societies, and a sorcerer who rules over all.
These fantastical lands offer tempting treasures, from the eggs of fearsome dragons to the trinkets of goblins strewn by hand. Who would notice if a few treasures go missing? Seemingly no one, once your bags are packed full and you’ve headed to the sorcerer’s own Enchanted Market deep within the kingdom. Now here is a place to sell such wonders!
Unfortunately for you and your friends, you didn’t perform your due diligence. This kingdom doesn’t belong to just any sorcerer. Here, he is known as the Mad Sorcerer, and you’ve found out all too late that his entire kingdom is CURSED. The magical beasts and creatures. The civilized and not-so-civilized societies alike. Every treasure you hold threatens your very existence!
But it would be too easy to simply put them back. And how would you profit?! No, you’ve learned the curse will only harm whoever has stolen the MOST treasure, trapping them with the Mad Sorcerer forever. Everyone else may have a chance to escape. The key will be to do so with the second most treasure… after your doomed friend, of course.
Now you’ve gathered in a quiet alley in the Enchanted Market, quickly trying to divvy up the treasure between you all. Take some for yourself, give some to your friends, but just be sure you don’t wind up with too much. Perhaps a few chests and elixirs purchased from the Enchanted Market may help you along the way…
The only way out of the kingdom are magical scrolls sold at the market. When a scroll’s conditions are met, you’ll be sent to freedom. However, whoever has the most treasure will instead wind up at the Mad Sorcerer’s side, forced to shuffle his never-ending deck of cards!
